SIAR 2026 once again served as a showcase for high watchmaking and jewelry, and Cartier was the house that stood out most among collectors and the specialized press in Mexico. Its presence at the fair set the tone for a week dominated by watch luxury.
Bvlgari unveiled new moves in jewelry and watchmaking, while Tiffany & Co. remained among the most cited luxury jewelry houses in editorial coverage. Piaget shone at the fair and in high watchmaking coverage, and Hublot and Breitling strengthened their presence among enthusiasts. Tudor, Panerai and Zenith used SIAR as a local showcase, and Grand Seiko closed the group with its participation in the October event.
The week makes clear that fairs remain the space where luxury is measured in visibility: watchmaking draws most of the attention, while jewelry advances with more occasional moves. For the Mexican market, the message is that collectors and the specialized press continue to set the pace for brands.
