Dr.Althea arrived at Sephora México and became the name most heard in conversations about K-beauty. The Korean brand, which is looking to expand across Latin America, found in beauty retail a showcase that gives it immediate visibility.
Naturium also expanded its presence at Sephora and gained attention on shelves and in product testing. At Antara, the House of Beauty experience brought together Glow Recipe, Medicube, Skin1004 and Tocobo, and that physical exposure pushed several of them into everyday conversation. Laneige and Caudalie maintain their weight in the Korean and premium skincare segments, while Fenty Skin returned to the Sephora showcase and e.l.f. Skin attracted young consumers after appearing on recent lists.
The dominant trend is clear: physical retail and brand experiences are redefining how skincare products are discovered in Mexico, with Korean brands at the forefront. For brands that fail to get into these spaces, the challenge is to win the same attention in a market where trying before buying matters more than ever.
